We took the older kids to my Alma mater today, the University of Mississippi, to watch the historic Egg bowl against MSU. It was great fun to be back on campus. So much has changed since I’ve been there, and it was especially surreal to be taking some of my children with me to visit.
Assuming my kids attend college, I don’t know where they will end up. I hope one of their desires as they grow older is to attend a college where academic excellence is emphasized in the curricula. The face of college is rapidly changing, so it will be interesting to see what’s offered for them when they are of age to attend. Maybe we’ll have a Libertarian in the White House by then who will help boost our education system.
